The mystery buyer of the $47.5 million side-by-side property in the Pacific Palisades has been identified as hedge fund executive Thomas Laffont.

The billionaire partner at New York-based Coatue Management and his wife, Liz Laffont, bought the properties at 525 and 521 Spoleto Drive in separate transactions, Reported by Dirt.com.

In November, the Laffonts reportedly purchased two lots at 525 and 527 Spoleto Avenue, including a 7,200-square-foot house and a tennis court, for $29.5 million. real deal.

In March, the couple bought two other lots at 521 Spoleto Drive for $18 million that contain the 5,100-square-foot house next door.

The seller of both properties is TV producer Ben Silverman, who made The Office and Jane the Virgin. Silverman bought all four lots, totaling 1.4 acres, for $20 million between 2010 and 2017.
