Agnes Reynolds Russo, a longtime East Marion resident, passed away on May 16, 2023 at her home. She is 100 years old.
Ms. Russo was born on July 27, 1922 in Lowell, Massachusetts, to Malamati (Kolio) and George Iatrou.
Before living in East Marion, she lived in Woodside, NY from 1960 to 1979. She worked as a seamstress and bookkeeper.
Her first husband, Bill Reynolds, preceded her death. her second husband, Anthony Russo; and siblings Charlie Iatrou, Manny Iatrou, Katherine Chryssiadis, Nick Iatrou, Christina Thalassinos and Mario Iatrou. She is survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
A viewing service will be held at the Christian Greek Orthodox Church of the Transfiguration in Mattituck at 11am on Wednesday, May 24, followed by a funeral service with Father Andrew Cardieu officiating. Funeral services will be held at Sterling Cemetery in Greenport.
