The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced a recall of approximately 4.9 million Threshold glass jar candles that may crack or break during use, posing a tear and burn hazard.
Officials say the recall includes:
- 5.5 oz single wick candle;
- 14 oz three-wick candle;
- 20 oz three-wick candle.
They are sold in a variety of scents.
Had. There were 137 reports of candle jars cracking or cracking during use. Six people have been injured, including lacerations and severe burns, according to the CPSC.
Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the recalled candles and return them to Target for a full refund.
