Jordan Viscomi, 30, of Centereach, Long Island, was arrested on Wednesday, May 17, according to Suffolk County Police.
Viscomi is a dance instructor with David Sanders Dance Dynamics, located on Sunrise Highway in Oakdale.
According to investigators, he knew and befriended two girls, aged 15 and 16, who were dance students at the time.
Over three days in April 2023, Viscomi conducted live video chats and text messages with the teens and exchanged sexual content with them, police allege.
After investigation, Viscomi was arrested on the following charges:
- Six counts of exploiting a child for sexual activity
- Four counts of promoting child sex
- Four first-degree counts of distributing indecent material to a minor
- Two counts of second-degree distribution of indecent material to a minor
- Two counts of endangering the welfare of a child
He is expected to be arraigned at Central Islip First Local Court on Thursday, May 18.
Suffolk Police asks anyone who may have been a victim of Viscomi to contact the agency at 631-854-8552.
Viscomi was Grande’s backup dancer and the two dated from 2011 to 2012.
