Kristina Manico, 34, of Centereach was arrested Thursday, May 18 after fleeing the scene of a serious car accident in October 2022.
Manico was driving her dark sedan westbound on Suffolk Avenue in Central Islip on the evening of Wednesday, Oct. 5, according to police reports.
She struck Naseem Baker, 25, and Gina Rose, 34, at the intersection of Hawthorne Avenue at about 10:20 p.m.
Baker and Rose were taken to South Shore University Hospital in Gulf Coast for treatment of their serious injuries.
Manico was charged with leaving the scene of the accident with serious bodily injuries.
She is due to be arraigned at Suffolk County Court, Riverhead, on Thursday, May 18.
