Sgt. Pablo Rivera, 49, of Franklin Place, Long Island, was arrested Monday, May 15 and charged with two counts of forcible touching.

State police announced Wednesday, May 17 that a lengthy investigation determined the victim was inappropriately touched by Rivera on two separate occasions in North Westchester County, the town of Cortlandt and the city of Peekskill.

Rivera was taken to Cortland Town Court, where he was arraigned and released.

He was issued an appearance ticket to return to Peekskill Municipal Court at Cortland Town Court on Thursday, May 18 and Monday, May 22.

A protective order has been issued for the victim, police said.

Rivera was serving in the National Guard at the time of the incident.

State police said investigators believe there may have been other victims. Anyone with information please call 914-788-8044.
