Maison 613, a Beverly Hills condominium mansion that made headlines in 2019 when it sold to a limited liability company linked to the Kurdistan Barzani family, is now up for sale for $27.3 million.

The 21,000-square-foot home at 613 N. Canon Drive was listed for sale on May 15, according to the listing website. John Yarborough of Compass acted as listing agent.

Maison 613 is listed for sale in August 2022 for approximately $30 million. In its more than 250 days on the market, it has undergone several price cuts. In December, the price dropped to $29 million. In January, the price dropped to $27 million or $1,315 per square foot.

The house was sold in 2018 for $27 million to a limited liability company later linked to the Barzanis family, the most politically and economically powerful family in Iraq’s autonomous, oil-rich Kurdistan region. One of the family. Masoud Barzani was president of Kurdistan from 2005 to 2017.

An agent’s description lists amenities at Maison 613 such as a paneled library, indoor basketball court, beauty salon, two-lane bowling alley and commercial elevators. The land of the mansion covers almost an acre of land. The grounds include a one-bedroom guest house, as well as a pool and spa.

A 2019 Dirt.com article reported that another Beverly Hills residence owned by Maison 613 and LLC in Barzanis at 945 Foothill Road appears to be unoccupied. The Foothill Road mansion was purchased in 2018 for $20 million, around the same time Maison 613 was purchased.

The Redfin listing compares Maison 613 to recent sales, such as the March closing price at 524 North Beverly Drive. The 11,000-square-foot mansion sold for $20 million.
