According to Nassau County Police, the incident occurred in Uniondale on Friday, May 12 at around 3:10 p.m.

The victim, a 16-year-old girl, was walking along Henry Street near First Place when a man pulled up next to her in a dark blue four-door Mercedes.

According to police, the man was sitting in the car trying to talk to the girl, and when the girl looked out the window, he began the lewd behavior.

The girl reportedly ran away in fear and hid in bushes until the man drove off in an unknown direction. She went home and called the police.

Officials described the suspect as a black male of thin build.

He was reportedly wearing a white T-shirt and blue and green shorts with a possible Jamaican accent.

The car has tinted windows and no front license plates.
