Oyster Bay Town Councilman Steve Labriola invites local artists and artisans to exhibit and sell their handmade wares on a special day of Art in the Park. The event will be held at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park & ​​Beach in Oyster Bay on Saturday 20 May and is now accepting applications.


“Art in the Park provides a fantastic opportunity for local artists and artisans to showcase their best work to the public and gain local notoriety,” Councilor Labriola said. “Art in the Park is sure to attract hundreds of families and seniors, as the event also includes live music, food trucks and activities for kids.”


Participants must be at least 18 years old and may only exhibit and sell their original work. Commercial or mass-produced items are not permitted. Artists must provide their own 10×10 canopy and other items needed for the space. Further details and associated fees are provided in the application form, which is available on the Town’s website.

Arts in the Park is managed by the Town’s Community and Youth Services Department of Cultural and Performing Arts. The event highlights handcrafted items including ceramics, watercolors, glass, jewelry, wood, leather, sculpture and more.
