Someone in Stowe, Vermont is seeking a lot of dollars for a mansion in Green Mountain.

A 15,700-square-foot home on 110 acres is listed for $20 million, the most expensive residential listing in the state. The property is located at 2575 Weeks Hill Road and was built in 2004. The home includes six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms and has mountain views, according to Realtor.com.

Geoffrey Wolcott, Four Seasons Sotheby’s International Realty have a list.

Inside there is a Boffi kitchen with walk-in pantry and four prep stations, spacious living room, atrium, indoor pool and spa, gym, circular wine cellar, commercial laundry, guest suite and a three-story lift. There is also a heated four-car garage.

The listing says the grounds include a barn and extensive hiking trails.

If the mansion sells for anywhere near its listing price, it could easily break the state’s residential sales record.

The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home at 422 Lands End Lane in Shelburne, Vermont, just outside of Burlington, Sold for $10.25 million It will hit the market in April 2022 after listing in December for $9.8 million, Mansion Global reported. Three separate bids, two of which were from out-of-state and included buyers, drove up the price.

The property is approximately 10 acres across the northern tip of the Shelburne Point peninsula, with approximately 1,300 feet of lake frontage.

The most expensive sale ever recorded by the state’s MLS has been surpassed by several off-market deals.The previous record holder was the $7.1 million purchase of a 200-acre home by auto dealer heirs Ernie Boch 2021.

Homes in Stowe sold for an average of $833,000, about 8% more than a year earlier, according to Redfin.
