The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday, May 9 that a jury found the man, who remained anonymous to protect his victims, guilty of multiple counts related to his inappropriate touching of two minors.

According to the District Attorney’s Office, the man lived with his girlfriend and her two children from September 2019 until January 2022 during the crime.

At night, after the youngest child had gone to bed, evidence at trial established the man repeatedly touched the child’s vagina. This happens repeatedly from the time the child is seven to nine years old.

In January 2022, the youngest child confided in her older child about her abuse, unaware that her sister had suffered more inappropriate behavior from the man.

Together, the two sisters told their mother about the man’s actions.

The mother confronted the man about the abuse before kicking him out of the home.

He allegedly gave a variety of excuses, including that he might have been in the wrong room at night, that he might have mistook the child for his girlfriend when he “reached out” at night, and that even the youngest thought he touched it when he was actually there. Her pussy as she looked for the TV remote on her bed.

“This defendant took advantage of his access to child victims to abuse them,” said District Attorney Ray A. Tierney for the trial.

“Instead of protecting the two children, this defendant exploited their innocence to abuse them.”

The man was convicted of the following offences:

  • secondary sexuality classes for children;
  • endangering the welfare of a child, two counts;

He will return to court on Monday, June 26 for sentencing.
