Those looking for a savory or sweet snack need look no further than the new G Taste Crepe Cafe in Huntington, 308 New York Ave.
Opening March 2023, this charming French-inspired storefront is hidden within a brick facade.
In the eight weeks since then, it seems to have hit the road of success.
G Taste’s menu offers a choice of six sweet and five savory crepes, which the owner describes as “made with the freshest ingredients and cooked to perfection”.
Based on the only five-star reviews the crepe has received so far, it doesn’t seem like any of the crepe options will disappoint.
“The food is delicious, we have savory and sweet crepes, both are perfect,” writes Sue R. of Huntington on G Taste’s Yelp page. Besides being a cozy space that also offers outdoor seating, on top of that, “everyone is really friendly,” she said.
Marie K., also of Huntington, echoed these comments.
“‘I’ve been there three times and I’ve had great crepes every time,'” she says.
G Taste offers unique take on classic French favorites such as shawarma crepes featuring pork, red onion, mayonnaise, lettuce and sriracha, and shkmeruli crepes filled with chicken, tarragon and homemade creamy garlic sauce.
Diners looking for dessert can enjoy the matcha crepe, tiramisu crepe or the more classic strawberry and peanut butter crepe.
