At around 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, police received a 911 call for shots to be fired in New Cassel near 166 State Street.
Nassau County police said officers arrived to find a 26-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
He is now confirmed as Gulan Williams of Baldwin.
Investigation is ongoing.
