Suffolk Police announced that an adult man was involved in a fatal industrial accident at his workplace on Monday 8 May.
The man, an employee at Omni Recycling at 114 Alder Street, was hit by the delivery vehicle around 1 p.m., according to police.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they have contacted the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
