It happened at about 2.40pm on Saturday, May 6, in the village of Oyster Bay Cove.
Nassau County police said a 77-year-old man driving a 2019 Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided with a 55-year-old woman driving a 2023 Dodge Durango at the intersection of Yellow Cote Road and Cove Road.
The motorcyclist suffered multiple injuries and was taken to an area hospital in a critical condition, police said.
His name was not released.
The driver of the Dodge Durango remained at the scene and was not injured.
Investigation is ongoing.
