Hunter Storm has received approval to build a 292,500-square-foot office building on its tech campus in North San Jose.

The Cupertino-based developer won approval from the city’s planning department to build the five-story building, the final phase of the tech campus at 1155 North Coleman Avenue, San Jose Mercury News reports.

The L-shaped building at Coleman Avenue and Aviation Avenue will include a 12,000-square-foot building with benefits for tenants.

Designed by San Francisco-based Gensler, the U-shaped development features white buildings with vertical columns framing floor-to-ceiling windows.

it will accomplish the so-called Coleman Highline Campus, It will include 1.5 million square feet of offices and eight buildings, including two hotels, shops and restaurants, and 1,600 apartments west of San Jose’s Mineta International Airport.

Hunter Storm, the development arm of Hunter Properties, has signed a lease with Roku for the site. The streaming company moved its headquarters to the Coleman Highline complex, where it has leased five buildings covering 730,000 square feet.

The developer then made Verizon Communications a tenant in two other buildings on the Coleman Highline, but never moved in. TikTok owner ByteDance eventually sublet the offices and recently began moving in.

The buildings total 658,000 square feet, The Mercury News reported. Hunter Storm subsequently found a buyer for most of the Coleman Highline offices.
