Keith Zarek of Massapequa Park won the $1 million New York Lottery VIP Millions jackpot on Thursday, May 4, lottery officials announced.

The winning ticket was purchased at the J&Z Deli Grocery in Ridgewood, 67-11 Myrtle Avenue.

Zarek received his one-time payment for a total of $651,000 after deducting required withholding taxes.

The VIP Millions lottery also has 25 $1 million jackpots and four $5 million jackpots, according to lottery officials.

Players can check the game report at nylottery.ny.gov at any time for the status of any New York Lottery scratch-off game.

For the 2021-2022 fiscal year, total sales of New York Lottery scratch-off games are $4,517,682,111.

School districts in Nassau County received $172,704,552 in Lottery education aid during the same period.
