Longtime Southold resident Mary F. Fabian passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at the age of 90.
Mary was born on August 28, 1932 in Sv.Vid, Krk, Croatia, to Margaret (Kirincic) and Peter Spiciarich. They have two children, Mary and David Spiciarich.
On November 16, 1952, Mary married the love of her life, Georges Fabian, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Astoria, New York, and they had three children.
Mary is a member of the Southold Homemakers Club, Mattituck Senior Citizens Centre, Southold Adriatic Society and Southold St. Patrick RC Church.
Margie Lotito (Thom) in Ridge, NY; George (Lori) in Bluffton, SC; Steven (Theresa) in Sag Harbor, NY; grandson Brian Lotito, Brent Lotito, Kevin Lotito, Craig Lotito, Elizabeth D’Elia, Jacqueline Fabian, George Fabian and Julia Fabian; and great-grandchildren Olivia Lotito, Luka Lotito and Mackenzie Lotito.
The family hosted friends at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold on April 28. A Christian funeral service was held at St Patrick RC Church in Southold on April 29, officiated by Father John Barrett. A subsequent burial took place at St. Patrick’s RC Cemetery.
