According to Nassau County Police, the incident occurred at 3:20 a.m. on Friday, April 14 in North Belmore.

It can be seen on the dashcam that the suspect allegedly broke into the victim’s 2021 Volkswagen, which was parked on Elderberry Road.

He then checked the bags the victims had left in the car and took multiple credit cards and their driver’s licenses, police said.

The suspect is described as a black male of medium build with dark hair.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing dark pants, a dark sweatshirt, a surgical mask and a baseball cap with the words “Lottery” emblazoned on it.
