Lottery officials announced that on Tuesday, April 25, the jackpot Take 5 ticket was sold at the King’s Motor Super Pumper in Hauppauge, 1340 Motor Parkway.
The winning ticket was sold in the Take 5 Midday drawing for $18,980.50.
Regardless of the prize amount, lottery prizes can be claimed within one year from the date of the draw, the lottery said.
Five numbers are drawn from the range 1 to 39 and the draw is broadcast twice a day on television.
The New York Lottery has donated $3.6 billion in the 2021-2022 fiscal year to support education in New York State, making it the largest and most profitable lottery in North America, according to its website.
