Scattered rain began on Thursday, April 27, including brief downpours in some places.

According to the National Weather Service, there will be occasional showers in the afternoon, followed by a sliver of sunshine, and then possibly more scattered showers.

High temperatures will be in the upper 50s.

Friday, April 28 will be mostly cloudy with temperatures in the 60s.

The first storm system will arrive overnight Friday through Saturday, April 29. (See the first image above from AccuWeather.com.)

Saturday will be mostly rainy and windy, with temperatures in the mid-50s, the National Weather Service said.

About an inch of rain is possible.

The rain will taper off to showers on Saturday night.

On the morning of Sunday, April 30, the weather will start to dry before the next storm system arrives in the afternoon. (Click on the second image above.)

The morning of Monday, May 1 can sometimes be heavy with rain.

During the day on Monday, the sky will gradually become clearer.

The high temperature will be in the 60s.

The second storm system is expected to bring about half an inch of rain.
