According to the National Weather Service, scattered rain and showers began on Thursday, April 27, and will continue on and off until early afternoon before a gleam of sunshine, followed by the possibility of more scattered showers.

High temperatures will be in the upper 50s.

Friday, April 28 will be mostly cloudy with temperatures in the 60s.

Saturday will be mostly rainy and windy, with temperatures in the mid-50s, the National Weather Service said.

About an inch of rain is possible.

The rain will taper off to showers on Saturday night.

On the morning of Sunday, April 30, the weather will start to dry before the next storm system arrives in the afternoon. (Click on the second image above.)

The morning of Monday, May 1 can sometimes be heavy with rain.

During the day on Monday, the sky will gradually become clearer.

The high temperature will be in the 60s.

The second storm system is expected to bring about half an inch of rain.
