The New York Islanders did not disappoint in their first playoff game against the Carolina Hurricanes at UBS Arena on Friday night.
The game was a back-and-forth battle until the Islanders’ late surge produced a record four-goal burst in just 2 minutes and 18 seconds. The Islanders won by a score of 5-1, closing the gap in the first-round series to 2-1.
