Last month, a Ronkonkoma man was arrested in North Lindenhurst and charged with assault, criminal mischief and resisting arrest after deliberately hitting a police officer and two police cars with his Mercedes.
Suffolk Police arrested a Ronkonkoma man in Moriches last night on charges of intentional assault He was driving a police Mercedes and two police cars in North Lindenhurst last month.
Christian Castillo deliberately crashes 2022 Mercedes-Benz C20 into two police officers on March 9 Deliberately hit a walking police officer on 50th Street at approximately 7:35 p.m.
Castillo then fled the scene in a Mercedes.
The walking officer was taken to a local hospital where he was treated in a non-life-threatening manner.
After an investigation by the Major Crimes Unit, Castillo was found on Long Tree Lane in Moriches April 15 at 9:33 pm
Castillo, 20, of 137 Lorraine Court, Ronkonkoma, has been charged with second-degree assault on two counts of Third degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest.
He was held overnight and was scheduled to April 16.
