Juneann D. Zarzecki of Cutchogue passed away on Friday 21 April 2023 at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. She is 82 years old.
Juneann was born on May 20, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York, to Doris (Spor) and Walter Rauch. She is one of two children.
She worked for many years at the Bank of New York in New York City, then at the National Bank of Suffolk County and finally at the National Bank of Bridgehampton. She loves knitting and crocheting. She loves to bake, especially making applesauce. She was a member of the James Potter Housewives Club and a missionary at St Patrick RC Church, Southhold.
She was preceded by her husband Anthony and nephew William Rauch, her brother Walter Rauch of Flanders and her friends Joan Kielkowski of Riverhead, Joan Nugent of Cutchogue and Donna Belvedere of Cutchogue.
The family will host visitors at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold on Wednesday, April 26, from 2 to 6 p.m. A Christian funeral service will be held at St Patrick’s RC Church in Southold at 10am on Thursday 27 April with Father Peter Gary officiate. Funeral services will be held at Calverton National Cemetery.
