Four individuals stole seven designer handbags around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, according to Nassau County Police.

The incident occurred at the Manhasset Prada store at 2000 Northern Boulevard.

The group, consisting of three women and one man, entered the store wearing masks, took the handbags and fled the store, pushing a salesperson to the ground in the process.

It is unclear in which direction the thieves fled. No injuries were reported.

The total value of the stolen luggage was about $20,000, authorities said.

Founded in 1913, Prada is a luxury designer brand. Bags retail from $1,000 to $4,500.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident to call 911 or contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
