Detectives are looking for four suspects who walked into a Prada store in Americana Manhasset on Wednesday afternoon before fleeing about three minutes later with seven handbags worth more than $20,000.
Nassau County police said detectives believed the suspects included three women and one man, and said all four were wearing masks.
Police say the robbery occurred at the store at 2000 Northern Boulevard at 2:49 p.m.
While no one was injured, police said one suspect “pushed a sales assistant” as the four fled the store, knocking her to the ground. The four then fled “in an unknown direction,” police said.
Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call 911 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
